Perennial Favorites is a unique specialty plant nursery located near Rye, Colorado, in the beautiful Greenhorn Valley of the Wet Mountains. Located at a historic 130 year old dairy, the nursery is open to the public from May through July, and again in September for our fall sale.
At the nursery we grow over 1000 varieties of perennials, herbs, and shrubs. We have a great selection of native shrubs, wildflowers, and perennials from similar xeric climates around the world. We also offer one of the largest selections of ground covers in the state. Hardy shrub roses are one of our specialties. Our seven demonstration gardens showcase the variety and selection of plants that we grow: a traditional perennial garden; the rock garden; a slope garden; a hummingbird garden; the shade garden; a thyme walk; and the "no-water" garden inspired by the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's No Water Garden.
Any day that you visit during the growing season will allow you to see something new in bloom.
