VINE Campsis radicans TRUMPET VINE

A deciduous vine that can reach 20' tall, this is a good climber for the hummingbird garden. Orange-red trumpets bloom mid-summer. Zone 4.

VINE Campsis radicans 'Flava' TRUMPET VINE, YELLOW

Yellow flowers. Hardy to zone 5.

VINE Clematis (mixed varieties) CLEMATIS, ASSORTED

We grow a good selection of varieties with a good choice of colors and flower shapes and sizes. Some types of clematis bloom on new wood, some on old wood. During extreme winter conditions, clematis can die back to the ground. If they only bloom on old wood, they would not bloom, so we grow those varieties that bloom on new wood. Pruning back to 12"-18" above ground in spring will insure a vigorous and healthy vine. Zone 4.

VINE Clematis 'Ernest Markham' CLEMATIS, ERNEST MARKHAM

VINE Lonicera japonica 'Purpurea' HONEYSUCKLE, JAPANESE

VINE Lonicera reticulata 'Kintzley's Ghost' HONEYSUCKLE, BRAND X

Wow, what a gorgeous vine. The pale blue-green leaves support pale yellow flowers in spring, but the unique flower bracts described by Scott Skogerboe as "A galaxy of full moons" is what makes this honeysuckle so memorable. That name comes from Dr. Kintzley, a former Horticulture Professor at Iowa State. The vine was found on his grave and brought to Colorado by his family. Sun to part Shade. Height: 10'-20'. Zone 4.

VINE Parthenocissus quinquefolia VIRGINIA CREEPER
